I'm a Mocker

The greatest band of all time also released and starred in the greatest musical comedy of all time. Yep The Beatles released "A Hard Days Night" in 1964 alongside the film. Filled with all the classic songs off The Beatles most perfect straightforward rock n roll album, this film is perfect in every aspect. Bullshit good tunes, funny jokes, rad clothes and heaps of chicks.

My favourite part of the film is when Ringo is asked "are you a mod or a rocker?" with his reply being "I'm a mocker". What a reply.

Never to be outdone, The Beatles only rival when it came to music, God himself Bob Dylan released basically a dark comedy version of "A Hard Days Night" in the form of "Dont Look Back". Dont Look Back features Dylan touring London in 1965 being filmed by D.A. Pennebaker as he plays his final acoustic shows before going electric. Where The Beatles were getting cute and grooving with chicks, Dylan was doing a truckload of speed, reading whack poetry, getting into fights in hotel rooms and playing absolute mindgames with Journalists.
