Ahhhh September its an exciting time of year for us here at the old modisonblogsquad. The Dragons surged their way towards a glorious win on Friday night and in the process captured the famed JJ Giltinham Shield for the first time as a joint venture and are looking dangerous going into the bu sines end of the season. With four weeks of gut wrenching finals football to come before that potentially euphoric occasion on the first Sunday in November life feels exciting. To take my mind of the potential twist and turns of fate that could potentially ruin my life long dream of seeing the might of the Dragons holing the premiership trophey aloft my cricket season is starting next week and give me the chance to send down my newly patented flipper and send cries of LBW appeals in to the air. However even without these glorious distractions spring is the time of yeah when the sun starts shining that Little bit brighter and you start seeing those little bits of the opposite sex that you almost forgot existed beginning to be unmasked. As the days grow longer and nights grow warmer the male libido will begin dancing like a drunk madman. Freud said the sexual self is your essential self, so prepare to feel as close to your true identity as you will ever feel. In this secular age where our lives are driven by consumerist values and desires our only hope for salvation is to be saved by that divine moment we can lose our selves in with that special someone. While not all hellmen are fortunate enough to have found the one for them, the search will intensify in the following weeks and many fruitless exhibitions will be embarked upon. While this may leave you feeling disillusioned i have stumbled across the perfect antidote.
