Dearly Departed

If parting is a sweet sorrow why does it still taste bitter? the words of some crappy pop punk band whose name has long escaped my mind, but these words have never rang truer in my ear drums. A couple of days ago one of my all time best mates packed up and moved to Sweden to study and be with the girl of his dream and will not be back for a minimum of two earth years. To compound the potential for a negspiral of Cyclone Tracey proportions my phone has been out of action for about a week so i couldn't even call him from the book and babe laden prison of University. As a tribute here's a little video of him and I surfing about 3 or 4 years ago before he went to Sweden for the first time and we had little more on our mind than the arrangement of the wind and the ocean.
