2005- YOT

The blog is dead. Or at least in some sort of vegetated state, barely clinging on to life while the life support machine beeps its teets off in the corner of the room. However if there is any jolt of life to get my fingers tapping on the key board it is the prospect of the Dragons finally achieving success in the cruel world of the 2010 Telstra premiership. 

Much like those little heart panel thingies George Clooney made his own in E.R, the forthcoming preliminary final match with the Tigers has pulled me out of a neg spiral and made blogging seem worth while again. However before the dreaded four letter word beginning in C and ending in hoke begins to form on your lips I will pen this disclaimer that I actually have only a fools hope of the Dragons succeeding. In fact my expectations of a bleak future are so prevalent that my first instinct was to google the corresponding fixture in 2005 when the Tigers were the men and smashed a star studded Dragons outfit into the dirt. So if you are like me and are clinging on to your last shred of optimism watch this video before your hope soar and are undoubtedly crushed like each and every year since 1979.
