Im sure all you out of control hipsters out who love your music can't wait for every Wednesday evening when Myf Warhurst and her little band of knowledgeable fellows take to the airwaves on the cute little pop quiz known as Spicks and Specks. If you dig the whole layout of topical and spontaneous off the cuff humour, tricky little music games and skits riddles based on obscure pieces of music memorabilia boy have i got the thing for you. Never Mind the Buzzcocks Hosted by the little hellman Simon Anstell, is a kind of Brit pop equivalent to the show and takes it to the next lever. The guest stars are bigger, while the host and team leaders (including Phil Biley who plays Manny in blck books) are ridiculously fun and pay far less reverence to their guests never letting a good chance to verbally demoralise them go astray. ReplyDeleteHey dude thanks for your input its cool to see a comment or two. You are right about Bill Bailey, Phil Bailey is a dude who used to play footy for the Sharks and Australia. I do also know the show has been out for years since it is up to its 20 something-eth season so thats obvious but it doesn't mean its not current. Current means that it is here, it is going, its alive, so something cant be "not heaps current", its either current or its not, and it is. But that is beside the point because i wasn't trying to be rad, cool, current, or creating a revolution by posting that i was just showing a clip of a show that i liked.
