In 1966, once again, when I wasn't even born, some little jewish dude was re-inventing rock n roll, rocking crazy get ups and consuming more speed than a Parklife festival.
In the space of 16 months, Dylan recorded 3 masterpieces (Bringing It All Back Home, Highway 61 Revisited, Blonde on Blonde), influenced The Beatles beyond belief and went on a world tour playing blues driven rock n roll with his backing band The Hawks.
Homeboy pumped out surrealistic lyrics thanks to a healthy speed addiction and even wrote the biggest mindfuck of a novel ever entitled "Tarantula".
On May 17 1966, Dylan's life changed for ever when raucous crowds slow clapped him, booed him and called him "Judas" for supposedly turning his back on folk music via the means of rocking a black telecaster and re-arranging folk classics into rock n roll speed blurs to accompany his recently recorded work from the former 3 albums mentioned.
