The Wild Wave

Holy Shit Sauce. If you dig boogieboarding, or any sort of waves shralping for that matter, today could be the day of days. At Approximately 9PmMEastern Daylight Saving Time, on this very eve, what is potentially the raddest event in bodyboardings short and checkered history is about to go down. 

The 16 invited riders is comprised of a plethora of world champions, local hellmen and contemporary rippos. The powers of these riders will combine, in some sort of real life captain planet-esque scenario, to encapsulate the very best that competitive bodyboarding has to offer. The swell is forecast to be over six foot and there is guaranteed to be some wild barrels and courageous, inspiring aerial tricks going down. Shit could get wild. Here is a promo vid for it and in the background you can already see some glorious wegs shaping there way down the reef and it is expected to almost double in size.
