One for Teets

Two posts in one day, both by me. While providing a stark indication of both the abundance of free time and lack of social life i have had during the morning and evening portions of this wonderful day this post actually has a benevolent agenda. You see while this blog is run by two dudes, who enjoy a bevy of subjects that are predominantly the realm of dudes and as a result a an exponential amount of the content on this page is "just trying to live your life being a dude" orientated. So in a blatant attempt to try to appeal for fervently towards the people who read this blog with a set of teets (i know of at least 3), i have decided to post this little video that may hold interest to both the cheecks and dudes alike. Luckily during this evenings myriad of conversations i was engaging in relating to the wondrous events of the greatest of all human endeavours, the cricket, i was briefly interrupted as one of my lovely female colleagues implored me to check out this film clip.

The clip which i approached site unseen, features some massive mod looking babe contextualising her own thoughts on the subject of love, using some sort of beautiful stream of consciousness that borders somewhere between poetry and the ramblings of a scorned madwoman. On a whole though i came out of it thinking i had just witnessed something that was dreamy in its ideology.

The film is set in an out of control society in a distant future, on a far away planet know as Alphaville where free thought and individualist expression like love, emotion and poetry are outlawed and are replaced with concepts that directly contradict them. People are forbidden from asking "why" and any people not adhering to these rules or showing the slightest sign of emotion are accused of acting illogically, accosted, interrogated and executed, which would certainly spell the end of us here at modisonnegsquad

As a result Alphaville is a place where dudes just fang around like mindless little toy soldiers, fearful of flashing even the merest smile as it will result in their death. Crazy french mods.

Another rad little fact i learnt was that this film was the inspiration to clip that accompanied those glorious 90's classic by those Irish ledges The Cranberries. They would certainly been smashed in good old Alphaville for this emotive little ditty.

I hope that chicks are digging this a little more than the blogs on the old cricket, cos there is going to be plenty more where they came from x
