Dylan. Gong.

Dylan playing Wollongong 2010. Wild. Opinion on the talent and continued relevance of Dylan is polarized across the universe. Weather you love his delightful use of the English language in his art or hate his drawling voice, there is little doubt that he is a musical legend, whose extensive catalogue is only matched by his continued mystique.

While discussing it today one of my mates suggested that they thought seeing Dylan would not be worth it in 2011. He reasoned that he had heard he can no longer sing with the same gumption as he once could summon for every performance and as a result the performance would be greatly diminished. In my opionion it is the timeless content of his songs and his eloquent manner in which it has been verbalised is where his true magic lies. Furthermore, he was never one for focusing on nailing the perfect notes anyway.

I for one, dig him and plan on getting my teets down to the Win entertainment centre. This is the sort of shit got me heavily involved in making myself familiar with his words, his music and his story.
